The Sebastien Ammann Quartet celebrated the release of the record “Samadhi” (Freshsound New Talent) by traveling to Europe last March and playing in Paris (Sunside), Lisbon (Hot Club), Porto (Porta Jazz), Lausanne (Blew Note), Geneva (AMR Jazz Festival) and Barcelona (Jamboree).
What a great experience for me to spend that time in the company of some of my favorite musicians and get to play music with them every night for a whole week: Ohad Talmor, Dave Ambrosio and Eric McPherson
The tour was very successful and on top of the enthusiastic response our music received from audiences around Europe, we were featured in a page-long article in the Tribune de Genève (Switzerland) (link to come soon…)
At this time, I am working on new compositions for the next album. Stay tuned!
