November and December news!

Dear friends,

Thanks for checking in!

I’m excited to be involved with a few interesting projects coming up:

First and foremost, Sebastien Ammann’s Color Wheel’s first tour to Europe in early 2018, promoting our first album Color Wheel (Skirl Records, 2017), is in preparation and I’ll have more on that soon.
To quench your thirst, the record is available here:
Bandcamp, Itunes, Amazon and physically at Downtown Music Gallery in New York City.

Color Wheel is: Michaël Attias (alto saxophone), myself (piano, composition), Noah Garabedian (bass), Nathan Ellman-Bell (drums)

On November 19th at 3:30PM, I’ll be playing with a fine band at Scholes Street Studio in Williamsburg taking part in a monthly concert series hosted by the 4X Collective that I am part of.
The band features Caroline Davis (alto saxophone), myself (piano), Matt Aronoff (bass) and Nathan Ellman-Bell (drums). Other sets include Gene Ess’ Trio (1:30PM) and Song Yi Jeon Trio (2:30PM).

I also just met with guitarist Gene Ess to discuss the music of his next record. The recording, scheduled for mid-December will feature Thana Alexa (vocals), Gene Ess (guitar, composition), myself (piano),  Yasushi Nakamura (bass), and Clarence Penn (drums).

These next few weeks are also incredibly busy, as I am finalizing the work on my next Artist Visa that hopefully will grant me another 3 years in the United States. Fingers crossed!

I hope to see you soon!
