I just got back to New York after a really inspiring time in Switzerland playing with the Swiss singer Soraya Berent. This duo project started after Soraya was offered a “carte blanche” at the AMR in Geneva in October 2011 . We worked on the project for a few months before the concerts on February 23rd and 24th.
The aim of this project is to combine music and poetry in a lot of different ways and discover the many links between words and notes, speech and sound, form and metafore.

I love performing in a duo setting. It’s very intimate and offers a lot of interaction possibilities and freedom. I’m looking forward for the next performance. Stay tuned!
